  • Mental health or substance use crisis, or
  • Any other kind of emotion distress

People can call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org for themselves or if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support.

The Klein Family Harford Crisis Center is available 24/7.  It is a public-private partnership in Bel Air, Maryland and offers immediate access to behavioral, mental and addiction health services in a safe and comfortable environment.

Sheppard Pratt Crisis Walk in Center

The Crisis Walk-In Clinic is specially designed for people who need an immediate psychiatric triage. They provide referrals to an appropriate level of psychiatric care. All individuals are evaluated by a licensed clinician. The Crisis Walk-In Clinic serves people of all ages and is located in Towson, MD. Those receiving services from the Crisis Walk-In Clinic must do so voluntarily, be medically stable, be free from drugs or alcohol, and be able to safely wait for evaluation in an outpatient clinic setting.

WARMline encourages those who are feeling anxious, depressed, or in need of someone to talk to due to the current pandemic or other issues to call 211 or dial 443-608-9182 directly to be connected with a representative who can provide support. Available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., WARMLine representatives will listen to concerns and refer callers to any additional resources they may need.
